How about locked in? Family vacation when I was about 7 or 8. I went into the gas station bathroom which had been recently painted. It took me a while to open the stuck door. Anyway, I finally got out only to discover my family had driven o…ff in station wagon without me. They got about 5 minutes away before my parents asked “Where’s Leslie?” My younger sisters undoubtedly conveniently ‘forgot’ to mention I wasn’t in the car. They returned to the gas station to find me waiting patiently for them. I honestly do not think I was scared or worried. We still laugh about it.
