1. Cat nap

This cracked me up today. Wendell on the left, Saachi on the right, in the bay windowbox.
My two formerly homeless tomcats, who are now very fat and neutered and not at all homeless, as you can see.

That itty bitty pink flower, if you can see it, is a stray bit of Christmas Cactus that planted itself somehow from my other 'real' cactus plant, and which decided to bloom now, in April, instead of at Christmas like the other one did. Its OK with me, just a little surprise is all.

I'm doing gingerbread test samples today, maybe tomorrow I'll share.

Its raining!

2. Kitty Doodles

No one can nap like a cat (except maybe a dog). I know mine all do some silly poses while they sleep.

Well, they have perfected the art, since they do so much of it.

I'll be painting some of these up this weekend. I may take a break from my pencils for these, I'm not sure yet.

I'm starting to get Spring fever! The sun is out today and the weather is just perfect. Not hot, not cold, no wind or rain, just pretty blue sky and sun and happy buds on trees and plants and singing birdies. I think I'll have Jeeves set up my tea on the terrace today ~
