Kennett Square, Pennsylvania
Coordinates: 39 51 N 75 43 W
Population: (5,273 2000 est.)
There may be only one “City of Light,” or the wettest place on Earth (that’s Tutunendo, Columbia if you’re wondering), but geographical claims to fame are numerous and well distributed. Occasionally, they’re also disputed. The Mushroom Capital of the World is a prime example. This looks great! I can’t wait for it to come out!
Very imaginative! I wasn’t sure what was going on precisely, but it was compelling enough visually that I didn’t need to. The synopsis on the short’s site was somewhat elucidating, “When a hungry astronomer falls asleep while working on a problem, he finds the solution not in outer space, but in the surreal food chain of his subconscious mind.” I kind of vaguely felt a Mayan influence in the character design although I am not that familiar with the subject. Regardless, I am a fan of surreal stream of consciousness stuff. It should be fun.
