The story you are about to read is true. The face of our victim has been altered to protect her identity. Iowa City, Iowa: a sixth grade girl, we will call her "Abby" is preparing for her birthday. Her loving grandmother asks her what she would like as a gift. Abby tells her she would like a Hunger Games tshirt.
Flash forward to said birthday.
