Why am I doing these? Well, they're very satisfying and meditative. That's why.
I've been doing reading on sacred geometry, which includes mazes and labyrinths, fractals, spirals, the golden rectangle, cool weird mystical perfect patterns found in nature, all that stuff.
This one is called a Baltic Wheel as you may have gleaned from the title. I didn't name it that. Its an actual type of maze found around Scandinavia and thereabouts.
I did a much more restrained palette on this one. Maybe it was my mood. And the tiles are getting smaller too.

Paula, I really enjoyed your mosaic wheel. I was wondering, did you draw in the tiles prior to putting the paint down or did you just do it as you painted?
