Review by Jess
EVERLASTING, by Alyson Noël is an epic ending to a long roller coaster ride, following Ever and Damen in their many adventures. Overall Everlasting impressed me but I must admit, it was nice to see the long journey end.
I read Evermore a couple years ago, and I loved it but lost a lot of interest after Blue Moon, I found the plot was the same in each novel, with little changing and the story dragged on. I thought the series was going to end sooner than it did.
I loved Noël's characters! I really liked being able to see Ever grow and mature as a character, I really felt that she transitioned from young teenager, to young woman. It was a huge bonus to see that in Ever. Ever and Damen are just so cute! I was happy with the culmination of their relationship in this book. I have been reading so many books with so much excitement, physically and emotionally, and I did find it frustrating the limitations between Ever and Damen, but I must say, I was satisfied.
I definitely felt like Everlasting was a strong ending to a sometimes frustrating but wonderful story. Noël did a great job wrapping up the many adventures of Ever and Damen!
