Great advice here for the parents of an only child. i especially like the section on promoting the effort taken rather than putting all the focus in the result.
Today there is much more stress on our children to meet a higher standard. They are multitasking more than we ever needed to at their age. We as parents need to help them by focusing on the effort taken rather than just the end result.
