1. The Three Fussy Readers

When you have three kids it is sooooo nice to acknowledge their different tastes in books. We'll start with fantasy.

Oldest - Harry Potter fanatic

Middle - Narnia compulsive

Youngest - Thief Lord, The Giver and Tales of Despereaux

I love great literature! I love it when my kids rave about something they have read!!

2. 21 days to Halloween!

I made this activity page years ago with hopes of having it published in Hopscotch magazine. Alas, they did not. They've got a set format and all. I am always having these big ideas that don't always fall into the structures available. :) So, can you figure out which objects should be placed in the trick or treat bag? This is a trick question. If you love designing rooms, you may put in the lamp.

3. It's the Halloween countdown

In the spirit of my favorite holiday, we at Designing Fairy are having a Halloween art countdown. Welcome! 30 days and counting...

Halloween is costume time! The above is Lilibeth and Emily's Halloween drawing ORIGINAL--pen and ink on bristol board-- sold at a ridiculously low price at my ETSY store.
