Beautiful! Such an wonderful way to express the EDM challenge of drawing something green. I would probably do lettuce or broccoli, or I am sure I have some green shoes somewhere in that closet.

Since this was "my" EDM challenge, I went back and looked at my entry for it, and remembered that I had dedicated it to you. The interesting thing was that in your comment, you mentioned that green was your favourite colour ... so I'm sort of hoping that there will be more drawings like this one, where green plays a major role ... It's lovely.

You know, I was hoping to figure out how you drew the fuzzies from the expanded view ... but I still can't figure it out!! I swear you make ballpoint pens do impossible things. Awesome!

Second that! And you make ink do amazing things, too. How on earth do you get the soft shadows behind your tea bags drawing or the surface of the wallet is beyond me. Will you enlighten us, pleaaase?

I really like this little guy actually. I think because it just started out as a doodle and I wasn't expecting anything of it. It was a nice little surprise. Unlike the drawing I've just finished which took AGES and does absolutely nothing for me!

What I like about this was trying out a new texture - fuzziness! I just touched the paper really very lightly with the pen and hatched as I normally would. I think that's how I did it?!

Barbara, there is always something to draw. I think about 98% of the work I've produced has been from stuff around the house. Which helps as I am quite reclusive!

Jeanette, yes Bob crossed the Atlantic - via some obscure cable channel. I get very passionate about him and really must do a post about him one day. I found his voice so mesmerizing. So beautiful you could float off into one of his landscapes on a happy little cloud!

None of mine look anything like that, and certainly have never inspired a drawing. Perhaps it's time for a new "foundation", something a little more "supportive" of my art ~grin~ Your gift for finding beauty in the smallest things is always an inspiration.

It's funny how most people 'got' what this was a drawing over here at my blog - it seemed to confuse some folk over on Flickr.

I did choose some of the nicer ones to draw. The washing-machine greys didn't really inspire me too much. Or those horrible sporty kind. Nah!

Very nice and colourful, Andrea! Adjustable, of course . . . Perhaps your drawing attitude needs a little adjustmant, too. Like Nancy said, go for some more portraits! You don't have to post them, after all (but I think they will be fabulous!).

This is such a nice perspective. Don't do it...don't throw them away!!!!!

Re-consider throwing away the shoe.. wear a dryer sheet in there and it'll be good as new.

wowza, I adore drawing my converse, but I love that angle you've used. Facing away from you as if to symbolise them leaving. Really like the detail you put into your drawings, very nice :)
