Pattern Camp is a virtual, online 2-day, weekend-long pattern design workshop taught by full-time artist and surface pattern designer, Jessica Swift. The contest attracted entries from over 200 applicants from 39 different countries. Alice Smith recently graduated from Loughborough University in printed textile design. After exhibiting at New Designers in London and completing a placement at with an online designer make Alice is now looking for job or placement opportunities in the textiles/surface pattern design industry. She is currently based in York and loves designing illustrative and playful surface pattern designs.

I was honoured to be a judge again this year in the Lilla Rogers Global Talent Search and in case you have missed it the winners were announced online here last Thursday.

Designer Jessica Swift's Pattern Design e-course starts on Saturday and is a 2-day, intensive weekend-long virtual online pattern design workshop. Ryan Deighton exhibited at New Designers in London at the end of June after graduating from Leeds College of Art where he studied Printed Textiles and Surface Pattern Design.
