1. Patio Visitor - Gray Tree Frog???

I went to pick up one of our patio chairs the other day and found this little guy. He looked so wise and serene, I just had to take some pictures. I think he's a gray tree frog but I'm not sure. Does anyone know? He never moved a muscle even when the camera was six inches from his face.

2. The Neighbors

The picture above is a photo from my window. As you can see, we live next door to a swamp. We jokingly call it our waterfront property. But the great thing about living next to a swamp are the neighbors. As you can imagine the mosquitoes can be pretty brutal in the summer but we also have lots of other critters like beavers, turtles, frogs, fishers, ducks and herons. Dale Martin is a local wildlife photographer who has been taking photos of the herons as they get their nests ready for the season.

3. Baby Robins

Okay just one more spring photo. A pair of robins have made a nest in the shrub outside out front door. We didn't realize they were until just a few days ago. But I don't think the three chicks in the nest are very old. We've been trying to leave them alone but it's hard not to take a peek every once in a while. And today I couldn't resist snapping a photo this little guy enjoying a nap in the warm sun.
