How to use this Page
You are viewing the most recent posts tagged with the words: armies in the JacketFlap blog reader. What is a tag? Think of a tag as a keyword or category label. Tags can both help you find posts on JacketFlap.com as well as provide an easy way for you to "remember" and classify posts for later recall. Try adding a tag yourself by clicking "Add a tag" below a post's header. Scroll down through the list of Recent Posts in the left column and click on a post title that sounds interesting. You can view all posts from a specific blog by clicking the Blog name in the right column, or you can click a 'More Posts from this Blog' link in any individual post.
One of my intentions this year is to post more frequently to this blog. I've had family things come up, but I'm trying to get back with it now! This illustration is my winter mailing. It did take a while to finish it and because of that I'm now working on some different ways of painting faster. Being from the Deep South, we frequently had marshmallow roasts outside with rather nippy weather... which might seem odd to some, but was very commonplace for me growing up.
I hope everyone had wonderful holidays, didn't eat too much, (but enjoyed yourself!) and have jumped into 2008.
My guys are all about amassing armies. They can use anything — scraps of paper, marbles, etc. Here we downloaded and printed 2 different transformers from the
San Jose Mercury News site. They did some of the cutting, I did the rest. We folded them together and voila! Let the battle begin!

Aah, the joys I have to look forward to when mine (now 4 yrs and 10 mos) are older. (= I think the volcanoes you mentioned before will be fun though. (=
I noticed your images are a little blurry - mine were before too, I figured out how to fix it. Go into the HTML and delete the "Width='400'" part. Then they won't stretch beyond how big they actually are and they'll appear a lot clearer.
Have a fun day!

Thank you! It worked.
