It reads: "You've forgotten the earthy side of your nature," the tree spirit told me.
This is the first of my small drawings following the alphabet. These are shaped like cards! I thought and thought, what to do for IF? I had missed a week..so busy and crazy...and I started this drawing. Why not have a whole series of drawings with words? Ah, brilliant. This may be another book. Yeah, another one. I always think in terms of books. I may offer on my Etsy. Not sure yet. I like when the art has a home. Let me know what you think...I invite you artists to do the same..your own alphabet.
Anycow, the art opening for Animals and Arts was fun. I spent most the evening talking with a fellow artist who is an angel reader about psychic stuff. I'm not thrilled about that kind of socializing at art receptions-shmoozing with folks I don't know. But my daughter Jess seriously worked the room giving out my promo postcard and chatting up a storm! She also had several--was it six?--glasses of punch which seriously wired her! Bill was talking photog with other photographers. That was the prereception. We actually missed the reception! Were were to exhausted. Didn't find out who won an award. That ain't my bag either. :)

I like the subtle face. Nice composition.
Hey I love your take on the shapes in the tree...Hope to see more of your stuff!
Very pretty! :D ethereal
Awesome Ronni, and a good reminder. The texture here and touches of green really make this work.
I like the subdued color and clear lines. This has a very gentle but wise feel.
I like your colours, and Marshall is a great dog.
i dig the ink with the green so crisp!
I love this card the way it is. I even like it better without the tag and string underneath. Without the tag, you can focus on the beauty of the drawing itself without the clutter. excellent work!
Thanks everyone for your thoughtful comments. Yeah, Kim, I think I like it better without the fancy tag.
I really like this drawing. It's graphic, yet soft and peaceful. Plus I love images of trees, wether they are in photographs, paintings or illustrations.
