Whoa! I've loved the movie for years, but my girls find it too scary to be enjoyable. I bet they'd love the book, though -- I had no idea it had been a book first! My library apparently doesn't have it, but I'll suggest they purchase it...thanks!

I have ordered and out-of -print copy for the very reasonable price of $4.99 and will read and review - if it is as good as "Iron Giant."
