This is a sticker set I did for Peaceable Kingdom Press. Can I get a "cluck cluck" for chicken stickers?

A little request here, folks. I know how generous you have been in the past with this kind of thing. I wonder if there is anyone who has Moo stickers of their own work? If so, would you like to swap a page (6) of those stickers with me, for mine? I'd like to use them in one of my Moleskines. Please leave a comment if you would, and we can sort out the swap from there.
Also, a word on my Moo stuff. You know I'm a Moo designer, right? Well, I'm hoping to have an overhaul of all the drawings I currently have available on Moo. As soon as time permits. It's about time too. I'll be getting rid of some of them for good, so if you ever wanted cards, stickers, etc, with these drawings on then get them now. HERE.
Check out my Moo Flickr set. I love this set the best of all. You can see my Moo cards on vacation in all sorts of glamorous places including Paris, Italy, Hawaii and um, er, Lincolnshire. See them HERE (best viewed as a slideshow).
Cheers, my dears.
Last year, I worked on a fun project called My Better World Savings Bank. It is a high quality wooden house bank that has three compartments, and it teaches kids about spending, saving, and sharing. It comes with tons of stickers to decorate the house with and a passbook to keep track of expenses.
Along with founder John Weatherley and designer Alex Knowlton, I illustrated the stickers and the art work for the site. You can buy the bank online or check out some useful links to teach children to be financially smart!
And blog titles are generic. But it has been. The weather is nice, work, though hectic and filled with long hours has been pretty rewarding, and things are finally starting to stabilize out here in Maine. We have some new friends that love our flowering bush out back... I wrestled ten escaped lobsters in the back of Stormalong when they managed to stage a jailbreak en route to work.... My
There is nothing better than a hug! We love to get them and miss them when we don't. Hugs validate us. Hugs say: "I care about you", "You matter", "I see you". Human contact is important to good health. When you are hugged you feel better, and it makes you smile.

Since it's April Fool's Day, I'm in a jovial mood, and looking at what's occurring currently, we seem in need of some light spirits. In one of our meeting rooms today, I noticed some wag had put a sticker on Ernest Shackelton's Escape from the Antarctic saying, "The inspiration for the BBC's I'd Do Anything", and it made me laugh. Obviously, the original sticker came from Charles Dickens's searing indictment of child poverty, rather than the noted explorer's musical escapades in the South Pole, but it got me thinking – in this vein, which stickers would you like to see? To get the ball rolling:
1984: "The inspiration for Channel 4's hit show Big Brother"
One has to take one's laughs where one can find them.

Go watch Watchmen! And if you live in Philadelphia, go check it out at the Imax by the King of Prussia mall, where the Philadelphia Cartoonist Society has set up a gallery to promote the movie! The gallery features many Autumn Society members as well! So what are you waiting for? Go see it!
For the third festival/contest of music bands "La Caja Sonora" (the sound box) I had to illustrate and retouch the poster. I simulated some stickers that come alive and are deployed on the streets of the city at Canary Islands.
Here are some Christmas stickers I designed for the greeting cards class I was taking at School of Visual Arts with Cheryl Phelps. I became one of those students who showed up with very little work....which defeated the purpose of taking the class in the first place. I've been pretty busy (very thankful right now in this economy.) It was a great class though and I felt very inspired. Cheryl is a great artist and very open and generous with information. (thank you!) I would love to take this class again.
I'm off to San Francisco for Christmas! I definitely need the warmer weather and a change of scenery. Happy holidays to all of you!
Bonjour! I'm back from my trip to France and had a great time! We visited Strasbourg, which was about a two and a half hour train ride from Paris. My deary was a on a business trip there, so what a great excuse for me to tag along :-)
I LOVE the French illustration style and aesthetic. In particular I was looking for this book by one of my favorite illustrators Marc Boutavant:I've been wanting this book for so long now! Its very hard to get it in the US (it is on ebay, but very $$$). What a beautiful book!!! Then in another store I found stickers by Marc Boutavant too:
And the cutest little notebook and Christmas Alphabet postcard by Illustrator Marion Billet:
I love "Fake ads" -Postcards by illustrator Amandine Piu:
And of course how can I resist this one (also by illustrator Amandine Piu):
Our high school French got us around ok but I must admit it was mentally draining afterwards. Having a language barrier is a handicap and there were a few awkward situations. Then I thought about all the non-English speaking people who are brave enough to come to the US to make a life for themselves (including my parents.). Props to them most definitely!
Anyways, I already miss the cafes and pain au chocolats. Strasbourg is a very quaint city to visit. Too bad I didn't get to see much of Paris, only the airport and the few blocks around the train station. Next time!
I’ve been thinking about investing in a sticker machine for quite some time now, but couldn’t justify it. However, when I thought about how much I’ve been paying for stickers lately, the idea of having my own sticker machine for the purpose of making my own stickers for my students seemed more attractive.
