... but it's September!
SEPTEMBER!!!!!!
*twitch*
*flail*
I mean--it's almost Fall!!!
(Well... I live in SoCal, so our Falls look like this:)
But still!!!
IT'S ALMOST FALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*PANIC*
*HYPERVENTILATE*
*MORE FLAILING*
*HYPERVENTILATE*
*MORE FLAILING*
ahem.
But once I stopped running around saying things like: Holy-crap-where-has-the-year-gone????? and I-won't-have-enough-time-to-get-everything-done!!!! and Can-someone-please-slow-down-time???? I remembered that I actually LOVE the month of September.
Maybe it's because I was one of those weird little kids who loved school (you're all shocked by that, aren't you?). Or because I grew up in the desert and the temperature usually cooled down a *little.* Or because it's when I can finally find pumpkin flavored baked goods available to my heart's content (*crosses fingers for pumpkin cupcakes*). Whatever it is, I love this month. It's my favorite month of the year.
So I'm not going to let the whole so-much-to-do-in-so-little-time thing ruin September for me. I'm glad it's September, and I have a feeling this is going to be the best September ever!
Bring. it. on!
*fist pump*
Anyone with me?

I am so with you! Fall is my favorite season. So many colors and sports. :)
Nooooo!!! It's still summer, darn it!!! LOL!!!
Not yet, not yet autumn. Na-ah!!!
Did you know it's 113 days to christmas? Ahem.
Take care
x
I love September too! Esp running through scenes like the first one and feeling the crunch of leaves under my feet. :)
I love fall because it's jeans and hoodie weather. But September doesn't quite get cold enough for that around here.
I LOVE fall. October is my favorite month here in the Sacramento area of California. Something about the way the air smells and all the pretty colors... ;) (Also, mash those two pictures together and you have my city. Palm trees and regular trees...)
Besides, my book is out in December, so I'm ready for summer to be over and to dive into that!
It's not fall until I have my first Pumpkin Spice Latte :D
Totes. I love September. I love fall. BUT. I hate winter, and fall means winter is peeking its ugly, fat, stupid head around the corner, waving at me. Once winter arrives...IT NEVER GOES AWAY HERE UNTIL SUMMER AGAIN I SWEAR.
But fall means good books, fresh pencils (I freaking love school supplies), Pumpkin Spice Lattes, and before we know it, NANO!
I'm totally with you! This is my absolute favorite time of year! I'm actually thinking of moving the family back East in a few years, simply because Colorado has a teeny-tiny Fall season, when (in my town) it's just as likely to snow as in Winter. I love the smell of fall and apple-picking and pumpkins and cider and....okay, I gotta stop. Now I'm starting to crave pumpkin pie.
Yay for autumn! Even though England didn't have a summer this year! Coldest summer in thirteen years! Yay!
I love this time of year, too. And now that I'm back in my hometown watching my boys go through the same experiences I had here, it's really, really special.
Yay! I've got some September love on my blog today too.
Thanks for the beach pic. I'll remember it when I'm raking leaves!!
Pumpkin flavored goodies are SO the best part of fall. Pumpkin cookies. Pumpkin cake. And of course, lets not forget pumpkin pie.
*drools a little*
I agree--hip, hip, hooray for autumn!
I'm proud to admit that I have a small(ish) list of pumpkin baked goods that I need to find recipes for. I envision a 3-day weekend filled with zero outside commitments, allowing me to write and bake. 5pm can't come soon enough!
Fall can't come soon enough for this parched Texan! Today marks our 68th day of 100 degree weather. 68! (I like what your fall looks like, though!)
I've always loved September, too. Soccer season, start of school, fall colors . . . what's not to love?
Boo to the return of the school schedule, but YAY to pumpkin cupcakes!
I can't believe it's September too! I'm excited for many fall things, but I'm still not over summer. I mean, did it even happen?!
Looking forward to closing off this last quarter of the year with a bang! :)
Fall is my favorite season--I LOVE IT! :-)
I'm with Karen. We don't have Fall down here and it's freakin' hotter than the gates of hell.
I'm sick of pretending. You can call it a dewy complexion all you want but it's sweat, people!!! Sweat.
I'm ok. But I'm ready for late summer (what you peeps call Winter).
Oh yes. I love September too. I love autumn in fact. In the Rocky Mountains, it's glorious.
I wished our falls looked like either of those pictures. But mostly it just rains. A lot.
I adore Fall. For me it was always the trees, the cooler weather, even the start of school (school supplies :D). And then I also loved it because it was the heart of marching band season.
Fall is my favourite season too - even though it means I have to head back to work. We get those beautiful fall leaves you showed - prettiest things on earth!
I like Fall. The autumn leaves, the caramel apples, the cooler days and nights.
I love Fall. Plus, September rocks because it's my birthday month.
Jealous of SoCal Fall, though. :)
September rocks. :)
