2. Gratitude: The perfect end to a long journey

My move to the East Coast many years ago was a bit haphazard. I arrived after a days-long car trip with about 20 dollars in my pocket and no clue what I was getting into. But when I pulled up, late on a Friday night, to the temporary home set up for me by my new employer, I was certain I'd done the right thing by coming East.

This happened a long time ago, but I recently met someone who reminded me of how much I loved staying there.... so I decided to draw it.
