1. Another Elvis...

I did this doodle during a meeting. I didn't have a clue I was going to do this going into the meeting. I think it turned out quite well so I thought I'd send it to Elvis's official website. They excepted it and have it posted via the wikipedia.

4. The Elvis that matters...

Hopefully the illustration will upload this time. I've been having problems with Blogger from time to time and it's frustrating. Thanks for you patience.

These are the covers for a small business brochure I designed a couple of years ago - it was fun as I copy wrote it too :)

10. Whalevis

An old drawing, it went with an anti-pollution song sung to the tune of "Blue Suede Shoes."

12. Viva Las Elvis!

America's first REAL superhero.

Originally done for a Drawergeeks E topic... I pulled him out and dusted him off for one over at SFG.
(there's a few nips and tucks on him here and there for those keeping score)

I'm expecting a phone call from the Memphis lawyers even now...

    13. That's Alright Mama - the Elvis Challenge.

I drew this picture of Elvis a couple of weeks ago for an illustration about banking. Here I've just adapted him slightly for the SFG Challenge!. You can see the illustration in which Elvis originally featured on my blog and also a scan of how it turned out in print.

    14. Vegas Elvis

This is a pretty old drawing. I should try this style more often. There's nothing like plain old pen and ink.

    15. SFG: Elvis

    This week's theme: Elvis

The king himself invades SFG! All the ladies swoon, and all the men comb their hair into ducktails. Post your illustrations based on the theme here on SFG within the next week. Be sure to label your illustrations with the appropriate labels as well. I prefer you label your entries with your name or screenname, and the challenge label, SFG: Elvis.

Need inspiration? Visit the official Elvis Presley website.

Keep your ideas and suggestions for these challenges coming! I'm always looking for new and creative ideas.

Remember, this is a completely voluntary challenge designed solely to stimulate creativity and promote participation. Please don't hesitate to post your other work as normal.

Challenge yourselves SFG'ers and have a great week!

The next challenge will begin Thursday, March 15th, 2007.

    -Jeff
