AWKWARD AS A COW ON ROLLER SKATES

I stumbled upon this term online. I’ve never actually heard anyone utter (or udder) this particular phrase, but by golly if it's written somewhere on the internet it must be true, right? Well, regardless of it’s validity, this alleged idiom tickled me, and I immediately conjured up an image.

Granted, the little bovine beauty above does not appear to be awkward at all. Instead, she seems to be gliding right along, hauling…well…er…beef, if you will.

This week's theme: C is for...

Carrying on a popular theme for this week's challenge, hope you all have a great time with this one this week!

The SFG Challenge runs Thursday to Thursday, and was created to offer every member an opportunity to stretch their creative muscles, venture outside of their artistic boundaries and post their interpretations each week on a specific theme. This is a completely voluntary challenge!

Be sure to label your illustrations with the appropriate labels as well. Label your entries with your name and the challenge label, in this case SFG: C is for...

The next challenge begins Thursday, May 15th, 2008.

Thanks everyone!

10. the Countess Flageolet

Lately I have been crazy for French enameled miniatures from the 1600s. I've been somehow working them into everything I do.
