The cover of my latest picture book has arrived
"RUTHIE AND THE HIPPO'S FAT BEHIND!"

But I have a bone to pick with
the illustrator, K.C Snider. . .

How come that hippo on the cover looks so darned cute and
happy, K.C? I suspect you've snuck in a limelight hog, bent on
stealing Ruthie's thunder.
See, poor Ruthie is all upset about having to leave behind
everything she knows and loves, and move to some dumb ole
place her parents chose. No Hippo with a wobbly pink behind +
a fat pink smirk, should out-shine my Ruthie - right?
* Is this hologram of a Hippo going to steal my book??
* Will pink Hippos proliferate?
* Can K.C. ( that sneaky illustrator) make the Pink-o-liscious
Hippo kidnap Ruthie's tale of woe?
* Where will this pink pretender rule next - THE WORLD?
PLEASE help me thwart K.C. Snider's evil plans. Help Ruthie
kick this limelight guzzling Hippo OUT on his big, fat, pink
behind!!
If we succeed in saving her from you know who, Ruthie and
her story will be out in soft cover and Download - A.S.A.P!

I LOVE that pink hippo! That may be because they are fairly common around these parts, and they've grown on me. Well,not literally.

Thanks Book Chook - my Aussie mate! And a little bird ( or was it a pink hippo) told me YOU had a book being illustrated with a red-haired girl featured. BEWARE the pink Hippo, mate. She might pop up in your book if you don't watch out. Seems some illustrators just can't help themselves.
