It was draped/costume day at life drawing today...
Had a fun time drawing all layery drapery...(15-20 minute poses here).
...while we listened to period soundtracks (Romeo and Juliet, The Virgin Queen, Tristan + Isolde, etc....) Fun day! (1 hour pose).
Aah, now this is a figure I would just love to draw. It must be the 3rd rate Da Vinci in me ; )
I really like the face, there's something there that really catches me and makes me keep looking at her. I like the nose I think...the drapey fabric is a whole lot of fun too!
whew. I just stared at that for 3-4 minutes. A lot to learn from that sketch. Thanks for posting it. Complex.
