Jazz: Here, here! Snoopy’s is my benchmark. : ) All fish n chips meals were as good as Snoopy’s, except the one above, but only because of the batter on the fish.
Judging by the photos, Petty Harbour looks like a lovely place! Your little lunch spot sounds (and looks) like the perfect pick for a road trip stop, and, aside from the batter, the fish and chips appear to have hit the spot!! I’m not a fan of fried foods, but living in London (I must confess) I could not resist the fish and chips, served up in the standard newspaper cone, and sprinkled with malt vinegar! And yes, cod is far superior to haddock, in my opinion!
Can’t comment on Snoopy’s F&Cs, as everything I’ve ever had there was served in a bottle, but I’m sure they’re great!!
