As part of the NCBF this year, I spent a day at St Joseph's Primary School in Redcar. While there, I was introduced to Hannah, who enjoys writing stories and especially interested in illustration.

I love the page design too - it shows a really strong sense of composition and makes unusual use of the space. It all balances beautifully and sets the illustration off perfectly. Well done Hannah - keep it up!

wow these are really amazing!
She is certainly a natural.
These pages are FABULOUS - and I especially love her collage work. The sneakers just popped out at me, but she is also able to use patterns to achieve her goal. How old is she? Will you pass on our comments?
Such super work - the collage is so effective! I wonder how old Hannah is?
These are really lovely, especially the collages x
I just know that Hannah is going to get published while she is still very young. She is is so talented and her imagination is incredible with her use of collage. She must also be a big reader as her illustration and text are set out very well. all very professional. I love her work and if it was available in book form I would buy it! Well done Hannah. When you get your first book published remember I told you so! X
I will let Hanna know that this post is here, so she can read all your lovely feedback. Not sure how old she is - I will let you know!
Hi again Lynne, I have loved reading through your blog and I'm glad to "follow", it's a great read. This girls artwork is very sophisticated, I too love the use of collage in her pictures, perhaps another writer/illustrator in the making? Really charming- thanks for sharing. ;0)
Wow Hannah is amazing, I just love the 'builders' tea shirt, she has all the correct folds. Well done Hannah. :O)
