Hey you!

Where the heck have I been? Good question. I've been around, but not keeping up with the seriously grueling task that is my children's book blog. Such stress! My brother was in town visiting for a week and that led to a definite drop in productivity and a definite rise in grown-up beverages. For some reason the two are inversely proportional. But I'm back in business and serious this time!

Here's what's going on. Alethea from Los Angeles, CA has won the August Drawing Drawing. I realized that I never even posted it, so here it is or here it was...

Congratulations to Alethea, and thanks to everyone who entered!

As for the September Drawing Drawing, I'm thinking of making it have something to do with Max and Pinky's newest book, THE MYSTERY, which will be out October 14th. I think I'll select a sketch or illustration from one of the preliminary drafts of the story and select the winner the day the book is released. So anyone who has entered this month will be included, and anyone who hasn't entered, what are you waiting for, enter! I'll post the drawing-to-be tomorrow morning Arizona time.

Other than this I've been working on a new book. I'll post a few details from the sketches. Don't want to give too much away!
