The lovely thing about the internet, and blogging in particular, is that it leads you down a wonderful path of discovery. This is also the dangerous part. When to stop! I found a cool ezine called Small Magazine. It's full of creative stuff, incredible photography, and some of the most beautiful children I've ever seen, except for my own kids, of course. From there I wandered off to new places. One of these was The Small Object by artist Sarah Neuburger, where I found the coolest accessory for the thumb wrestling crowd--thumb wrestling championship belts! Can you imagine?
Writing for Children:
I also wanted to mention Write4Kids. It's a great writing resource.
I'm very excited about Nancy Sanders' blog. She's doing a series called Book in a Month Club, as in actually writing the whole darn thing in one month!
International Illustrators:
I've been traveling via the internet this week and found some wonderful blogs, most of which are in Spanish. Some are in English, also. Looks like I need to learn a new language.
Claudia Degliuomini
Marta Chicote Juiz
Merce Lopez
Marlowa
Cara Carmina
And last, but not least, I discovered the lovely site of Amanda Soule. She's written a book called, The Creative Family. Her blog is so enjoyable and heartwarming and inspiring.

The adventures of Station 51 and Rampart Emergency Hospital were chronicled between 1972 and 1977 on the NBC-TV show "Emergency!" The show was a Jack Webb (of "Dragnet" fame) production. It starred Randolph Mantooth and Kevin Tighe as firefighters Gage and DeSoto. It also starred Julie London, a popular singer in the 1950s and the former Mrs. Jack Webb, and Bobby Troup, a former bandleader who wrote the song "Route 66" and the current (at the time of filming) Mr. Julie London. Troup passed away in 1999. Rounding out the cast was Robert Fuller, a popular TV character actor in the 50s through the 70s, who had some wicked-ass sideburns! The show featured some of the worst (or best) overacting.
"Emergency!" (or as it was known in syndication "Emergency 1") was one of my wife's favorite shows as a kid, along with "The Six Million Dollar Man" and "Here Come The Brides". Here are some of the memories of "Emergency!" she has collected.
I, personally, have only seen one or two episodes.

Combining two IF topics = happy result!
I had an unfinished piece for a previous topic- "Moon." Just wanted to finish it up and add something for this week's topic...so it ended up being a space ambulance. I would of never thought of that in the first place. Thank you, IF! It sure is fun drawing ill aliens.
I can always tell your work.
Once again... nice job!
this really should have recieved a ton of comments.. amazing work!!!! Ilove how she is sitting.. do you look at pictures to figure out how to draw the pose of your characters? I have been thinking of buying a book to help me with that.
