I have been working on this illo for years. I drew the initial sketch about three yeas ago and couldn't wait to color it, but it was never quite right. Every once in awhile, I'd get it out and try to rework it. This year, I was determined to get it to color. I took advantage of my husband's keen ability to immediately find what's wrong with a sketch and was able to finally finish it. Thanks, Iraj! Whew!

This is so cool! If you go here, you can pick a piece of childrens book art and send a FREE egreeting, and money will be donated by E! Networks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. I don't know where the money actually comes from or how it works, but who cares. Its a great thing.
There's some fun art to choose from! Go have a look ~

Laura! I love it! Sorry, it frustrated you for so long but it was worth it!
Thank you! I'm so happy it's finally finished.
ha! what did he say was wrong with the sketch?
Hi Tabi (everyone, meet my sister-in-law!)
I had the hair blowing one way and her dress another or some such thing like that. Also, her original dress made her look pregnant. Not the image I was going for.
