Yes, Rose Alley SE1 is still there, next to The Globe, almost as it appears when Joan was there, let alone Dido! Strangely there is also a Rose Alley Tavern in New Bedford Massachusetts where Joan’s family first lived, and where Dido ended her long voyage in Night Birds on Nantucket – history just goes on and on…
