Before I moved here to the Pacafic Northwest, I lived in AZ. Actually, I was born and raised most of my life there.
My sisters and I took our mom and did a girl's vacation together up to Sedona, AZ. It is known for its red earth and mountains, and the beauty of its area.
I picked up some hand died material at one of the local quilt shops on one of our little outings. Had alot of fabric at home in my stash, but I was so excited to find a piece of fabric that actually had the colors of the local mountain ranges. And then I was able to put together my little quilt wall hanging.
I can't pass by this little quilt without smiling, because it just brings so many memories of that special time in Sedona, AZ.
