1. Harts Pass No. 327

The constituent at Harts Pass is absolutely sure it will NEVER be happy with the President-elect. So apologies in advance if you tire of our thinly veiled attempts at political commentary. There will also be sarcasm... and at times wolverine-centric comical rage. GRRR!

2. Harts Pass No. 318

It goes without saying what inspired this strip-- but I do feel pretty bad about ascribing any such attitude or characteristic to those of the animal persuasion...

Paid for by GRRR! The committee to elect a Gracious, Reflective, Reasonable, & Responsible creature to higher office!

7. Harts Pass No. 239

You can only keep that pent up energy bottled up for so long :) VERY glad to be done with my most recent book illustration project, excited to see who it comes together with the designer typefaces etc., and ready to start the next -- GRRR!

8. Harts Pass No. 237

Design something to succeed, and it probably will. Mess with that Griz when you don't have a plan or any prior experience with Griz-like situations... and your confidence may take a hit!

Wrapped up a fun comics workshop with the Methow Elementary 5th graders last week. I always forget to take photos of these residencies in action, but I will post some of the student comics when I get them all collected again (we're making a book) next week!

10. Harts Pass No. 212 -- Kit Courageous!

Many thanks across our Valley and around the west right now for all of the heroes that put themselves on the front lines of fires and rescue efforts time and time again. And thank you as well to all of you brave kids out there who are trying to make sense of distracted parents and a situation that definitely feels a little out of wack.

"Kit Courageous" and your continued bravery go a long way -- but (as Kit imagines it) some Super Soaker 6000 super powers wouldn't hurt a thing at this point either - with modulated nozzle pressure and advanced dispersal technology to reduce flash flooding impact of course!

Steady as she goes. It will be OK.
