1. Friday Movie: Jason Mraz

Ok,  I'm confessing this to the world, I love this guy! I don't know what it is... but he just does it for me.

I'm a very loyal fan of Jack Johnson but Jack, if you are reading this (... ha! yeah, right ) I'm gonna have to share my love between the two of you.. hope you don't mind. ;o)

I leave you with one of my favorite songs right now. This song makes me want to ride free on the back seat of a convertible and head to the beach just in time for the sun to go down... my favorite time.

Happy Friday everyone!

Oh, and I recently got this award from the friendly and warm Cynthia. Thank you so much.. I'm honored. Getting this makes me feel that having a blog is really worth it. Thank you!

2. Friday Movie: You'll be in my heart.

Tarzan is one of my favorite Disney movies. The characters, animation and music are just brilliant.

While I was working on the illustration I made for Eric and his new baby Henry, I remembered this song by Phil Collins.

I used to sing this to both my kids when they were babies so they would fall asleep.

I leave you with this beautiful song and images... Have a great weekend everyone! :o)

5. Friday Movie: Marc Brown (Arthur)

He is the writer and illustrator of the Arthur books. Great stories about the everyday life of a kid at school. I used to watch it a lot on PBS with my son when he was younger. We loved watching the series and reading the Arthur books.

Listen to this interview. I loved it, specially the story about the weather lady.....ha... ha... you'll see what I mean, take a look :o)

6. books change lives

This isn’t specifically about libraries, but I know that many librarians consider Neil Gaiman a member of our tribe, since he’s so bloggeriffic and knowledgeable and appreciative of our profession. So, I thought you’d enjoy this story about how Neil Gamain pitched in to help scifi fan Jason propose to his girlfriend during a book signing event. Here’s Jason’s blog post explaining how it all went down. Neil Gaiman says it was his favourite bit of his visit to the Phillipines. [mefi]
