2. The Flying Beaver Brothers

Free at last! I recently sent two finished Flying Beaver Brothers stories packing to New York. That's two sets of final art in two months. Or 192 pages, 584 panels, 902 beavers, 135 penguins, 114 fish, 36 seagulls, and 1 polar bear.

The titles are...

The Flying Beaver Brothers and The Evil Penguin Plan

and

The Flying Beaver Brothers and The Fishy Business

You'll get to see them both this coming January 2012. In the meantime, there's more work to be done!

3. Process

I spent the better part of the day cleaning up FLYING BEAVER BROTHERS artwork for scanning. This is what two gum erasers and a white eraser look like after removing pencil marks from 98 pages of illustration.

4. Copyediting

Right now, I'm working on final art for THE FLYING BEAVER BROTHERS. But before I can add dialog and an equal amount of onomatopoeia, all of the text has to go to the good people in copyediting to check over spelling, grammar, punctuation, consistency, etc. What they send me in the end is the typed up manuscript that you see below.

The FUMPs and CLUNKs really peak on page 87.
