It’s great you posted this link, Robin. I noticed there was far less awareness of the need for fair trade chocolate in the US (compared to the UK and Ireland - not sure about the rest of Europe) and much less available, a few years ago. A friend of my mother’s living in NYC was a chocolate fiend, and we kept sending her as many bars of Divine chocolate (which she loved) as we could fit into parcels and friends’ suitcases. But it was very difficult to get any equivalent for her there. I think the situation has changed some now but who knows how the financial crisis will affect sales.
