looks great! do they always give you a tearsheet with your map in place? that would be nice. i know with a lot of my design work, i'm lucky to ever see the printed piece.

This particular client happens to be wonderful-- they send a copy of the issue every month. Usually I have to ask... and sometimes even then I don't see it.

yes, i'm trying to be optimistic too. i'm fighting and way underbidding freelance work just to get miserable, unorganized, pain in the butt clients i normally would never work with.

that's rare to have a client send you the printed piece. very cool.

I was thinking of you last night while watching Antiques Roadshow. A woman had a huge folk art map painted on plywood. It was of Georgetown. It was really cool. I forget the exact value but I think it was around $5000. She had paid $500 for it. It had great little vignettes of scenes throughout and reminded me so much of your work.

Thanks Barbara! That map sounds great. We usually watch on Monday nights so I'll have to catch it tonight-- maybe it will be the same episode.
