This was painted digitally in Corel Painter 11 using a smeary impasto flat bristle brush on a sketchbook doodle. Happy Drawing Day everyone!

For Drawing Day I drew this little chap whilst he was drawing his self portrait.

Today is DRAWING DAY around the world...
Sweet! How do you like Painter 11?
Oooh! I love the textures on this little guy. I must try a trial of Painter one day, and see if I like it. Thanks for joining in with Drawing Day.
It is awesome Brian. I must say I have only started to tap some of the new features such as the enhanced ability to customize brushes. There are a whole ton of new markers which I'd like to try on a new assignment soon, when the market turns around a bit. Love your drawing Brian. I would recognize your style anywhere in the world. Happy drawing.
Thanks June. You will have a blast with Painter....maybe for the UK drawing day in October?
