Amazon has just announced plans to produce six original comedy pilots. The slate includes Alpha House, a series about “four senators who live together in a rented house in Washington DC” written by Doonesbury creator Garry Trudeau.
When completed, all the shows will be posted to Amazon Instant Video for subscribers to watch for free.
