1. Onyx is finally here!

Hi, everyone! It's finally here. Yes, Onyx is now released into the wild. If you loved Obsidian as much as I did then I know you having been anxiously awaiting for Onyx's release. I pre-ordered my Kindle copy and it came last night. Unfortunately I am in the middle of another book so I am going to have to wait a bit to read this one. But I am so excited that it's finally here. I need more Daemon and Katy!

To help get you in the Daemon state of mind, check out this awesome Onyx book trailer by the talented VLC Productions.

Visit the author online at jenniferarmentrout.blogspot.com and follow her on Twitter @jlarmentrout

2. Obsidian Trailer Debut

Hello, everyone! By now hopefully you've seen the awesome trailer reveal that the HEA USA Today blog put up for Jennifer Armentrout's Obisidian. We here at RNSL are huge fans of Obsidian and the super hot Daemon Black (and cover models Pepe and Sztella) and couldn't be happier that we get to see more of them in this fun trailer by VLC Studios.

Check out the full post on the HEA blog here, and the trailer below.

Ahhhhh! Hot, right? Man it makes me want to re-read Obsidian right now. Barnes & Noble is also have a big 40% off teen paranormal romance books deal right now which includes Obsidian. So if you haven't picked up a print copy of the book yet, you really have no excuse. :)

3. DaemonInvasion.com

I am so excited to unveil the fansite for Jennifer L. Armentrout's series, daemoninvasion.com!

I'm still working on graphics and features, but anyone can go ahead and register to use the site.

#daemoninvasion street team members, you can contact me to apply for Author privileges (let me know what else you have done online and what you would like to contribute to the site). You don't have to be on my exact team to be a member--just be a fan of the series!

There's not a *giant* lot to do on the site yet--after all, I just made it last night! But you can find more info about the books and add links to your reviews of books from the series.

If you have ideas to help promote the books or for community features I can add to the fan site, please leave a comment below (yes, it can count towards your contest entry!)

You can enter to win a paperback or eBook copy of Obsidian by helping me spread the word about the fan site (use the Rafflecopter widget below). Thanks in advance for your help, and good luck!

4. In My Mailbox (11)

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by The Story Siren (inspired by Alea at Pop Culture Junkie) where you can show off the books that you got last week.

Yikes, it's been a while.

Here's what I've gotten since my last IMM

Borrowed:

Something Strange and Deadly by Susan Dennard

Been lusting after this one! Thanks to Jane from Young Adult Book Council, I can cuddle up to it tonight.

Downloaded:

My Audible credit this month went to another Katherine Kellgren audiobook--Her Royal Spyness by Rhys Bowen. I love it so far!

Bought on Kindle:

Thuy signed us up to be a street team for Jennifer L. Armentrout's #DaemonInvasion, so I downloaded Obsidian while waiting for my local bookstore to stock it. I've already read it! Definitely a book that makes your skin tingle. I may have to go jump in a cold pool just thinking about it... *fans self*

5. Daemon Invasion - Join Our Team

So I did something that I don't normally do. I signed up to participate in an event. Let me just say that I am not usually a joiner. You know that kid who always volunteered to help out or joined every club and sport in school? Yeah I was that other kid waaaay in the back doodling in a notebook. But when I heard that Jennifer Armentrout was starting a team to promote her Lux series featuring the super sexy alien Daemon, I did what I normally don't do and signed up. I really loved her first book in the series, Obsidian, and cannot wait for Onyx to come out. And that's how I find myself today on a street team asking for your help.

Yup, I can't do this alone. I need a street team of similarly obsessed Daemon fans to help me. You don't have to have a blog but you do need to have a twitter, facebook, tumblr or other social media outlook that you can post on. Jennifer and her team will give us tasks to complete and, as we complete them, we'll go on to the next task levels. The higher we go, the more eligible we all are for prizes. And we get to spread the Daemon love. Sounds fun, right?

If you're interested in joining our team, leave a comment with your email addy or email me at twee66 at gmail dot com with your name and the link to your social media site. I really hope someone joins me so I am not a team of one (oh high school insecurity is coming back to me). Thanks, everyone!

*The image above was inspired by one I saw on Putting Pen to Page (credited to Refracted Light Reviews) and, of course, by the Ryan Gosling Hey Girl series.
