1. Carlos Araujo in American Illustration 29

Hello everybody!

I would like to share a good news with you guys... My illustration "Rampage" was chosen to be part of the American Illustration 29!  I'm very happy to be part of it...!

Inspired by the mood of old sci-fi comic book adventures and initially created for self-promotion, Rampage was so popular that I decided to make it available as a high quality, Giclee print (18,7" x 24,6").

People who are outside Brazil and are interested in buying a Rampage print, please send me a message: carlos[at]silbachstation[dot]com

See ya!

2. Dusty

"Dusty" is the second illustration in the "Bird-Bikes" series that begun with the Yellow Gentleman! It's also part of a mug design made to promote the Rabiscão, a gathering of illustrators that takes place every month here in my town.

3. Yellow Gentleman

Hello SFG!

There is a new illustration in my portfolio: An elegant Yellow Gentleman riding his mechanical bird-bike.

In some countries in Africa people ride on the back of ostriches, in the same way as horses. It seems a cool and interesting way to go around and inspired me to create this image. As carriages gave way to modern automobiles, the ostriches could be replaced by those "bird-bikes"....

Have fun!

Besides of endless hours of fun, this new paper toy can be also useful by holding that important business card or note for you... (Everybody should have a Buck Tooth Car on his or her desk, just like the picture bellow...)

Visit silbachstation.com or just click here to download Buck Tooth Car. Tested and approved by my 5 years old niece, Laura: "Uncle Carlos' car is fun and funny! And looks likes an washing machine!"
