How to use this Page

I'm very proud of my Dr Midas website as I put it together myself through trial and error with overwritten templates and copy and pasted designs. However I know it is really basic compared to some author websites out there. So I've enrolled on a web design course starting in September where I will learn all about Dreamweaver and HTML coding and hopefully from there I can go on to Flash animation. I've been looking for some ideas and found some great author websites on a link at bloomsbury.com. I'd love to have some cool icons like on Celia Rees' Pirates! or simple animations like the burning flames on Powder Monkey. But if I could steal any website it would be those belonging to Justin Richards - www.justinrichards.co.uk - for (museum-set) The Death Collector and The Chaos Code where you can scroll over a desk and artefacts and uncover bits of information. My website is also limited to ten buttons/ pages so it would be great to expand from that and get away from lots of scrolling. I wonder if I'll need another domain name? I would ideally like to be able to add lots of the information I have gathered for my second Dr Midas book. I have lots of photographs ready to use too of Peruvian animals and artefacts including owl monkeys, llamas and the Peruvian mummy I saw at Bolton Museum. Speaking of which I've also set my Sky+ machine for a documentary on the History Channel tonight. It's all about the conquistadors and how they conquered the Incas. I'll be making lots of notes especially about the clothing in case there's anything I need to clarify when I re-edit my book. I can't get through to Mrs.Blakemore. I have been corresponding with this lady by the name of Mrs Blakemore for a few weeks now, well I say correspond, actually she's the only person she's writing- I'm not convinced she cares if anyone writes back. Well, first let me say, I realize the effects stress can have on a person. In addition, we're all in such a hurry we barely have time to think straight, and simply aren't paying enough attention to what we're doing at times- however, I believe Mrs. Blakemore needs to READ my e-mails, I mean, sometimes someone else might have something important to say.

For example, Mrs. Blakemore believes I am her son Clifford and it really doesn't matter what I say or do she keeps writing me. Anyway, I think she's harmless, and I thought I would share it with you because why should anyone have to endure this alone, and you are my friends, right?

At the bottom of every e-mail she writes, "how do i get out of here??? esamplease putwheres the esape sign?? do i press back button??well i guess i'll just write because it's required dont want to get on some lis.."

I would be happy to tell her how she could "get out of here" but first she has to read my e-mails and I don't think that is going to happen anytime soon.

Anyway, now I have a feeling she knows I'm not Clifford but enjoys having someone to e-mail, at least I hope that's the case, because if not, Clifford really needs to talk to his Mother. Here is the last e-mail I received...

You need to listen to James and also call Mi Maw. her cat died today. You remember Nass. he was 20. she needs to hear that her grandson loves her. itll help console her, shug. please dont neglect your family.

James, great! You wouldnt know anyone who could bring my friend Cinda would you? her husband Denny is getting his knee surgery that day. its not required that we bring someone but everyone else is so we dont want to be left out. this class is a eye openin experience. we're just two old girls trying to see what we got left in us. turns out we got a lot.
