You can view all posts from a specific blog by clicking the Blog name in the right column, or you can click a 'More Posts from this Blog' link in any individual post.
Perhaps spurred by news of the Chevy Sonic, ticket sales to New York Comic Con are flying off the shelves. According to the show’s official Twitter feed, Saturday tickets are now sold out, although some may be available via retailers. And professional 4-day passes — which cost $10 as a registration fee this year — are almost gone as well.
Three- and four-day passes for the public are still available but going fast.

Hmm. What’s the offical Max Capacity of Javits? Cause if NYCC does better its 97K attendee record of last year… I’m picturing it’ll be hella crowded for the East Coast Comic Con-goers to navigate the aisles and hallways there:
100K+ individual-and-unique attendees divided into 3 days (I’m not counting the 3-hr “Preview Night” as a FULL day) means that that Convention center will be PACKED.
From my eyes, Javits doesn’t look at all the same size as the SD Convention Center; and even with Comic-Con’s capped larger 120-130K attendance— NYCC ‘11 looks like is in place to give the legendary SDCC ‘Exhibit Floor on Saturday’ some run for its money…
How’s REED POP’s corporate relationship with the NYC Fire Marshall?

I don’t know what the daily breakdown is but it seems to me if NYCC can pull in 100k over three and a half days, and SDCC pulls in only 130 over four a half days, NYCC should have them beat this year for more attendance!
