Greetings, Artfans! I don’t have a lot of time to write today, because I have to get ready for my drawing class tonight. I was sick last week (the FIRST class) and didn’t get to go.
But I am determined to forge ahead, as we all must, so I’ve got my little pencil case packed and tablets waiting by the door.
What’s that, you ask? Oh, yes, the bat!!
I finally finished the ink piece. Dearest Jonathan. It’s 11×17″, ink on bristol. Please overlook the shadowy line. I have only a small scanner, and had to scan two halves and assemble in Photoshop. Ahh, digital techniques…what DID we do before you? Oh, well, granted, we had the Renaissance and such like, but still…
Below is a detail…just in time for a chilling season! More soon!!

I love it!
Wow, THANK YOU!!
You’re very welcome
Gosh! It’s gorgeous! I know how much work one need to put into these types of illustration. Amazing job!
Thank you! That is very kind! This will very likely be the last piece I ever create in this style. Oh, my eyes!
I can understand that, but I really hope you continue, this is just great.
You’re very kind!
