Good morning. I love the illustrations and the concept of this book. So glad that Chronicle is bringing it to us now.
My kicks:
1. An hour Skype visit with Janet Wong and other teacher librarians on using poetry.
2. A poetry camp weekend in the fall is going to happen in my neck of the woods. Details will be coming.
3. Poetry postcards landed in Australia this week.
4. Time with oldest grandgirl.
5. At the coast.
6. Being with long time college friends.
7. Talklng, chilling, readind.

1) Sleeping in on a Sunday.
2) Orange-peach colored roses in a new vase on my table makes me very happy.
3) Bags of clothes in the car ready to be donated.
4) Work taking me to different parts of my beautiful state.
5) Watched the documentary The Champions & it was so uplifting. Dogs are amazing in their resilience, & while some people can be awful, more can be compassionate & wonderful.
6) Early morning workouts.
7) Snuggles with Daisy.
