A lot of new stuff from my website. An article from Drink and Draw Montreal, semi-finalist for the FIMA poster contest and much more to come... like a portrait of Hendrix. Come visit my website !
I also am working hard to get all the paintings done and hoping a few people can come and see this. It is in downtown or uptown Halifax. A trendy part of town. The painting are acrylic so that is a watercolor also sort of. Just thought I would show you.
Face front, true believers!
I love the way Stan Lee addressed his readers with such an intimate and glorifying phrase. True believers! Sure, you were just reading a Spiderman comic book, but he implied that this act joined you with a like-minded group, and certified your character as loyal and faithful.
I poked around looking for an appropriate “Face front” image, and found this poster in the Soviet Museum‘s digital collections. If you have a bit of time, check out the collection of pro-Lenin fairy tales. I also found an associated grumpy thread on Metafilter, comparing the ubiquity of this style of propaganda art in Soviet Russia to something like garish ads for fast food and grocery store mailers.
Face front, true believers! Today is beautiful, and we will face it with the resolution to do good.

Ever since I was a fresher at Falmouth I wanted to draw a poster for Advice to Sink in Slowly, they were an amazing inspiration for me when I was just starting out & the thought of being able to pass that feeling on was so exciting! I'm so chuffed to be a part of it.

TRON Legacy poster by Eric Tan. There’s a second one too, showcasing the original movie. Both posters are far better than either movie ever was. Also: brace for massive reblogging.
Ty Mattson has created an icon for each of the episodes of LOST’s final season and has put them all together in a limited edition poster. Say what you will about how the show wrapped up, Ty’s work is always keen in my book.

Illustration for a roll banner of an Android event.
The image was rendered in 9600 x 24000 pixels (about 80 x 200 cm in 300 DPI).
Nope, Forts isn't gong to be made into a movie anytime soon. Sure, it would be nice, but it isn't very likely.
Damn Hollywood fatcats!
With the help of a little extra time though, google images, and my handy photoshop skills, I put together a poster anyway.
I'd pay seven bucks for that.

Hey Guys, I just wanted to share with you a recently completed logo and poster that I did for a yoga studio in Brooklyn, New York. The yoga studio is called Usha Veda Yoga and is in the Green Point neighborhood of Brooklyn. Hope you enjoy these as much as I enjoyed making them. Thanks.
I found a CD full old works, unfinished stories and forgotten pictures unintentionally shoved in the back of my memory bank and a box full archives. Every time-capsule like folder filled with unorganized chaos made me smile. I found so many awesome things
plenty of my old sketches and scanned paintings…
a picture of the signed poster I got from an old friend.
I even found a couple of old sonnets I wrote for a writing class …
Sonnet 2
I’m stuck at home with this to write
While they are out enjoying life
I’ve put it off so many nights
Now I am here with so much strife
I rip I roar but whine at most
I wish this quick so I could go
To eat and drink enjoy a toast
Its almost done I wish it so!
Third train to write but what about?
I’m losing time its almost up
Lets make it quick then dance and shout
C’mon let’s go bring me a cup!
So this is it! I’m really done!
I Gotta go and have some fun!
(uhm soo glad I stuck with drawing….)
Spilled a drink on this one in the early goings. Being the stalwart illustrator that I am however, I rescued it.
"Stalwart" in this case of course means "too lazy to start over."
Which is weird.
A little under two months until the books release!

Like to give your charity efforts some political oomph as well as just money? This is a poster you can download at various resolutions from the Eastside Arts Alliance in Oakland, California. They are also hosting a free “Cultural Celebration and Educational Event about Haiti” this afternoon, Feb 3, at 4:30 PST. You can also buy nice silk screen versions of the poster from Dignidad Rebelde, and all proceeds go towards relief efforts. Thanks to Robert Trujillo for passing this on to me.
