About the book:

Stuart Little is no ordinary mouse. Born to a family of humans, he lives in New York City with his parents, his older brother George, and Snowbell the cat. Though he's shy and thoughtful, he's also a true lover of adventure.

Stuart's greatest adventure comes when his best friend, a beautiful little bird named Margalo, disappears from her nest. Determined to track her down, Stuart ventures away from home for the very first time in his life. He finds adventure aplenty. But will he find his friend?

It's not often a mouse is born into a house with a human mother, father and older brother. Nor can a mouse talk, brush his teeth, or drive a car. Stuart is a like-able character who seems to attract adventure and friends everywhere he goes (with the exception of the family cat - and the neighborhood cat who desires to eat him).

The pace is fairly fast, full of action and completely silly all the way through (although sort of realistic too). Very easy to read and I'm sure kids about 6+ will love to have Stuart Little read aloud to them and kids who are comfortable reading on their own should enjoy it also. A lot of the adventure and action in the story will definitely catch your kid's attention and they will want to know what h
