I would have written earlier but I have been exhausted since my long fourth of July weekend. Luckily my mom didn’t even bring my new toy because I had more than enough to do. I went to the Centerville, Cape Cod on Saturday where I got to run around outside and play with my friend Wesley. He’s just 9 months old so he was a little friskier than me. He wore me out but I loved it!
On Sunday we went to Chatham, Cape Cod and stayed the night there. At this house there was a golden retriever who was older than me. This time I wore him out! I did fall into the deflatable pool when I was running away from him. It made everyone laugh … not me!
Both of the couple we stayed with in Chatham had babies. George and Eliza are the babies names but they can walk and kind of talk. They were fun to play with also and I even let them kind of walk me…. which basically meant they held my leash and pulled a few times and swatted me on the head. I didn’t mind though.
Monday we went to my grandfather’s boat in Newport for the day. Not much playing there but I was exhausted so I didn’t mind. I did mind being left on the boat in my cage so Willy, my mom, my roommate and my grandfather could go out for a LONG lunch but what can ya do…
Monday night were the fireworks in Boston and man were they loud!! Me and my mom were already in bed and I put my paws over my ears and climbed under the covers. My mom laughed at me.
My mom doesn’t think I know that she’s going away tomorrow but I totally do. I can tell because of the errands we have been running. We had to go to three shoe stores and let me tell you my mom never goes shoe shopping. I am glad to report that Intermix, Cuoio, and Aldo are pet friendly. Aldo dealt with me but not sure they loved having me but the other two stores LOVED me!! So if your mom needs to go shopping these places are happy to have you come along! Not sure what other errands we are running today but I will keep you posted!!
