To keep on writing, illustrating, getting published, promoting reading AND be the best mom, wife, friend, colleague, human being I can be, while staying sane in the brain.
1. Writer challenges

I would be lying to you, if I told you that I usually put my inspirations on paper when I'm on the beach.  What you see here on this picture, is pure necessity.

When someone wants to be a writer, he or she must first have a job in order to survive, to be able to continue writing till the temporary obligation (for some writers it's for life) is no longer necessary and he or she can finally switch to the pleasures of living by the pen.
When a writer has a family, he or she can add 'lifelong challenge' to the list of commitments, which is a good thing, because having a family is the most rewarding experience (for some writers at least) and it keeps your mind in good shape, especially when you have to coordinate inspiration, location, parenthood, marriage, deadline, vacation schedules...

Everything is possible, fellow writers. We are creative people and we have a tough skin that is  sea-breeze, swim, beach and sun resistant, so why fear obligations, commitments and challenges. Inhale that fresh air, take a cool splash, feel the warm sand between your toes and let the sun give you a healthy glow.
