1. TEACHER appreciation!

Teachers are an essential part of the world. Without teachers the world would not be the world it is today. Without teachers we would not have writers, technology or books. Teachers are underpaid and underapprectiated. So I am proposing Teacher Appreciation, because teachers are absolutely awesome.

Here is how it is going to work, Leave a comment on my blog with one(1) teachers name and on Friday(2/25/11) I will pick 3 winners at random. These teachers will receive a $20 gift card to Amazon.com. So be sure to have the teachers address handy if you are selected as the winner.

“Our progress as a nation can be no swifter than our progress in education. The human mind is our fundamental resource.”
John F. Kennedy

“Education is the best provision for the journey to old age.”
Aristotle

“I am indebted to my father for living, but to my teacher for living well”
Alexander the Great

“A teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops.”
Henry Adams
