My 1812 novel had a June 1st deadline which was met - probably just as well considering the tumultous nature of this summer.
After returning from my sudden trip to England. I was in no mood to write (apart from some poetry and some reminiscences about my dear old dad which may or may not ever see the light of day). We had visitors, too, visitors arranged before my Dad's death. The last two weeks of August were spent away and/or getting T ready for school.
So, now we are in September and T is back at school. I need to get back to work. I have several ideas percolating, but am frustrated because I know if I start on them, I'm sure to get the revision notes for 1812. Sigh - what should I do, start in on them anyway, or just make notes and then put them aside?
Today, I'll stall by doing the accounts, the ones I've neglected all summer - oh, lucky me!
