My feelings, insights and beliefs about astrology.
1. Coordinates of Consciousness

For anything to exist in three-dimensional space it has to have length, width, height and essence. This is not only true of objects, but also of people.

One of the purposes of the universe is to show the vast diversity of creation and consciousness. For this to occur, there have to be points of manifestation, or locations, where consciousness is referenced. I cannot say for certain that this is absolutely true, but on some level, it makes sense to me.

Astrology and the planets are a way to catalog consciousness and its various forms. It reveals in time and space how people experience things and when. It is a tool for tracking development and growth in awareness. It can help a person to bridge the gap between reason and intuition. The outer world needs inner reference points that coincide with outer experiences, so that a unity can be experienced and a connectedness to all life. The outer world is a mirror of the inner in vastness and diversity.

The mind likes to confuse us by asking how a planet millions of miles away can influence us here. Actually, the planet is a symbol of an inner process we all experience. For example: the planet Uranus is the symbol of individuality. Whenever it aspects a personal planet, like the Sun, in a horoscope it signifies a need for rebellion or change from old ways of expression -- we seek to be more real in our expression of self.

Astrology is primarily a tool for unawakened humanity with technicians who can read the language of the stars to interpret them. To a fully awakened soul, astrology is nothing more then a curious phenomenon. You can see the various parts of your life in a horoscope, but you cannot experience it fully by following a horoscope. Astrology should lead you to a search for more inner awareness and a vastness inside you that reaches beyond the confines of three-dimensional experience. The reason we do not experience this vastness is that the mind limits our perceptions of it.

The universe as a physical vehicle is mirroring the processes of the unseen universe. What is accepted as reality in the unseen universe is reflected in forms, idea's, and concepts (or processes) in this universe. You can say that the energy is reflected or cycled between the two dimensions. Black Holes and Super Novas are symbols of the flow of life and consciousness. As events, they uncover the mystery of life as it unfolds in events and circumstances in this universe.

Astrology, therefore, is the map and the bridge between the seen and the unseen universe, a way to understand the unity of all. It is a mathematical bridge that implies that a relationship exists between what we see and experience and who we are at the core of our nature.
