Here are the covers of my new six-book series that will be available this fall. They were fun to write and a completely new experience for me to work with an illustrator. These books are for grades K-3 and include the history of each topic, what each one is like today, then gives kids some ideas, plus some open-ended questions about what things might be like in the future. I can't wait to use these for school visits to help urge kids to use their imaginations! I'll be curious to hear what some of their answers will be to the open-ended questions...probably nothing like the answers I imagined when I wrote the questions! Kids love to surprise us.
