I haven't been sleeping well of late. I go to bed and fall asleep immediately but then wake up with a start around about 3 or 4 in the morning and then have difficulty getting back to sleep. Today I added a new twist to this.
I woke up at 4:00 with my left, upper arm aching something rotten. It took me a few minutes to work out why. I was gripping it tightly with my right hand. Gripping it so hard in fact, and I presume for quite a while, that I had to exert considerable force to lift my hand as it seemed almost glued on. There was a distinct red handprint left once I did this. It has now faded, but there are small burst blood vessels leaving a stippling of tiny red dots.
Was I dreaming I wonder and, if so, what about?
